Sam - 4 months old

Hi my name is Sam and I was born on July 5th 2008. That is one day after my new mommy's birthday! (that makes it easy to remember!). The cute little baby is my new big sister, sarah. She is 8 months old. Even though she is twice my age, I am twice her size! Soon when she catches up we will play together and be the best of friends.

Right now I love to play fetch with a tennis ball, chew on my toys: one squeeks and the other I pretend it is a squirrel and shake my head back and forth with it in my mouth. I also enjoy other hobbies as well, I have a nice collection of firewood scraps that I stacked up in a neat pile on the back porch.

This is Sam's Mommy, Tiana. We adopted sam into our family 2 months ago. We searched and seached online for a standard poodle breeder because my husband grew up with them. He had one from the time of birth and the 2nd when he was a teenager, that one is still alive and kicking and he is 15 years old, an old man!

After looking at many websites we chose Patricia because her website looked professional and legit and she promptly returned emails and she was the closest we could find to Kansas. She was very informative on how to crate train and any other questions we could think to ask her. She was also very flexible with arranging for us to reach Sam. It was a several hours drive from Wichita, KS to her Home and she was able to arrange to meet us halfway. This really helped us alot because we did not want to worry about shipping our family member. He rode in the front seat on my lap all the way home and would lick my hand.

We took Sam to the Vet for his shots and a check up and he Vet was impressed with him, said he had good solid hips and his knees where straight forward and not facing out at any other angle. He is very pretty, This picture is really not that great.

Unfortunately my camera's battery pack is dead and I had to take these pics with my cell phone. When I can find my charger I will add some we took last weekend before sam got his haircut.
